Pick-a-Hot Pep chili peppers can be added as seasoning to dishes. Think of marinades for meat or a delicious spicy tomato sauce.
Chili peppers are spicy, and not meant to eat directly. Be careful with small children!
Tip: Mexican tomato vegetable soup
Ingredients:
1 tablespoon olive oil, 8 slices of bacon, 2 chopped onions, 2 chopped cloves garlic, 2 red peppers cut in rings with seeds removed, 750 gr. Roma tomatoes peeled and cut in pieces, a 150 gram bag of soup vegetables, a 70 gram can of tomato paste, a 300 gram can of corn kernels, pepper, salt, 1 deciliter creme fraiche, 50 gr. tortilla chips, 1 / 2 liter of beef stock.
Preparation:
Heat the oil in a large pan and fry the bacon crisp out. Crumble the slices. Sauté the onions with the garlic and peppers 5 minutes. Add the tomato pieces, the soup vegetables and tomato puree and stir fry 3 minutes all along. Pour the stock and heat until it boils. Cook the soup about 25 minutes over low heat. Add the crumbled bacon slices and corn, and heat the soup well. Season the soup with salt and pepper and serve with sour cream and tortilla chips.
